Appointments

  • Yes! We offer a personalised and intimate experience for the bride to be. Enjoy a glass of fizz during your one-on-one appointment with a dedicated stylist and have the entire bridal suite to yourself and your party. Please click here to make an appointment.

  • Styling appointments cost £25 over the weekend and £15 on a weekday. The fee secures a two hour one-on-one appointment with one of our expert stylists. Fizz is included as standard. This is a time to celebrate!

  • To ensure you have enough time to find your dream dress, we recommend shopping 6-18 months ahead of your wedding date. Dresses are made to order and depending on designer can take 6 - 12 months to arrive. Some designers can work to shorter timeframes however additional fees may apply.

  • We recommend wearing nude seamless underwear. You don’t need to worry about having shoes at this point. If you have any photos of dresses you like please show these to your stylist so that they can get an idea of styles you are drawn to. Our stylists are also able to make suggestions to help guide you.

  • We are able to seat yourself and three guests comfortably. We recommend inviting your most supportive friends and family to share in this special occasion with you.

  • As much as we love them, we have a strict policy of no babies or young children on site.

  • Please be advised that our premises is only accessible by a steep flight of stairs.

  • There are lots of pay & display car parks around town, the closest being Crown Mead and Hanham Road South.

The Dresses

  • Currently we stock: Anna Campbell, Jenny Yoo, Made with Love, & Trish Peng. With more brands coming soon!

  • Our sample sizes range from a UK 8-18. We work with brides of different shapes and sizes every day and have lots of ways to pull dresses in or let them out to best show you how the dress would look if we don’t have a sample available in your usual size.

  • Most of our dresses range from £1400 – £2500 with a small selection going up to £3500.

  • While we aren’t able to carry the entire collection from each of our designers, in most cases you can try a similar style on to ensure the perfect fit. We can then order the exact dress you want.

  • In most cases, yes! We love to help our brides achieve bespoke elements that are personal to them. Your stylist will be able to advise on what is and isn’t possible depending on the dress and designer you’re inquiring about.

  • A 50% deposit is required to place an order. The remaining 50% is due within one month of your dress arriving in our store.

  • Depending on designer, the standard lead time is between 6 – 12 months. Some of our designers can work to a shorter lead time. Please be advised that a rush fee may be applied.

  • Have a peruse of our Ready to Wear range These dresses are available to buy immediately and can be altered by our in-house Sewing team.

  • Yes, all dresses require some form of alterations to ensure the perfect fit. Your dress will be made to order in a standard size based on the measurements we take at your appointment. Your dress will then require alterations to tailor it and achieve a perfect fit.

  • We certainly can! We have a seamstress team on site. Alterations take place in our dedicated fittings suite and are completed in our sewing studio

  • We recommend that you start your fitting appointments three months before your wedding date; this allows time for 2-3 fittings to get your dress just right.

  • Yes, we have an extensive network of seamstresses throughout the UK that we can highly recommend.

  • Your shoes are a must! The length of your dress is determined by your shoes, so please bring the shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day to every appointment. Without them, we can’t work our magic.

    Additionally, we recommend that you wear seamless underwear in a colour close to your skin tone.

  • Three fittings is our go-to, however on some occasions we may only need two. We like to start fittings 10-12 weeks prior to your big day.

  • LFB brides budget between £400-£500 for head to toe alterations.

  • While we try to accommodate all of our LFB brides, we may need to reschedule your fitting to another day if you’re running late as our appointments are often booked one after the other. Our advice? Leave plenty of time prior to your appointment to ensure a relaxing start to your trip.

  • Of course! We allow up to three guests at each appointment.

  • We allocate 1 hour per fitting, however some appointments may be shorter.

  • At your final appointment, if everything is perfect, you will take your dress home with you!

  • We offer a 360° service! Bring your dress back to us and we can dry clean, repair and box it up for safe keeping. We’ll wrap your dress in acid free tissue paper and store it in a dress box. Your dream dress deserves to be taken care of.

  • We LOVE to help our brides give their dresses a new lease of life following their wedding day.

    Our Sewing Atelier and team of expert seamstresses is on hand to help you to reimagine your dress.

    We’ve had brides create separate skirts and tops, shorten hem lengths and totally re-invent their dresses so that they can make many more memories in them to come!
